There are many meaningful ways to support CIF beyond financial contributions, including helping spread awareness through social media to connect us with collision repair professionals and families in need. 

From volunteering your time and serving on committees to joining the Board of Trustees, every effort helps strengthen our mission and expand our impact across the collision repair community. Committee opportunities include the “Cocktails for a Cause” Charity Gala, Disaster Relief Awareness, Fundraising/Annual Donor and Marketing.

With flexible time commitments and many meetings being virtual, getting involved is easier than ever — and every volunteer truly makes a difference.

Charity (Gala)

Seasonal

Preparation and execution of the annual Charity event.

Starting in August with general call. After Labor Day, calls every two weeks about 60 minutes. After SEMA call, weekly until January event.

Disaster Relief Awareness

Year-Round

Improve awareness for CIF as the charity arm of the collision repair industry. Help locate victims and spread “We answer the call.”

No regular calls. Call to action when a catastrophic event happens. Sharing CIF posts.

Fundraising/Annual Donor

Year-Round

Develop fundraising ideas and follow up on current Annual Donors and prospects.

Calls every 4–6 weeks for 1 hour. This is number 1 fundraiser.

Marketing

Year-Round

Wide range of topics supporting CIF: graphics, social media, website, awards, certificates, and more. Budget is available.

Calls every 4–6 weeks for 1 hour. Task teams may present to larger team. Some board approval required.

Finance

Trustees only

Calls every 6 weeks, primarily prior to a board call.

Active from July to October. Following timeline/schedule from call for candidates to present to the board.
